If you haven’t perused my blog yet (maybe you’re mainly reading this via email or RSS feed), I would appreciate some feedback on my about page.
Maybe you know this about me already, but I sometimes have a hard time putting into words what I really mean or want to say (that’s why it’s so great that I married my wife – she helps me with those things!).
Would you mind checking out my about page quickly and giving me some feedback? Maybe think about these things as you read:
- What else do you want to know about me?
- What do you know about me that I didn’t mention?
- Does this make me want to read this blog every day for the rest of my life? 🙂
Thanks for the help – hopefully you’ll help this small community grow into something that will impact the next generation of men, families, and who knows…maybe our country.

One observation is that your “about” page only really talks about your blog and its goals. But you don’t characterize yourself. I think people can quickly connect with you as a “person” and then follow your blog as a result. Maybe add a few personal attributes, like passions or hobbies. When I think of you, just off the top of my head, is you’re a great listener, you can fix ANYTHING, you’re a reader (when you have time!), you’re athletic, you love coffee, you’re a hunter/gatherer…just some ideas.
Thanks, Holl! I was actually just thinking about that the other day – maybe including why I think it’s so important to think about the transition from Boy to Man, and how my upbringing has led me to think about that (divorced parents, adopted by my dad, etc.).
Thanks for reading! I’m looking forward to following ‘studyholl’ 🙂
